TOY DRIVE AND TRAIN SHOW

the Valley N Module Club, the Boy
Scouts of Troop 3 Derby, Ct. held a
toy drive and train show. The toy drive
was a great success in collecting over
$3000.00 worth of toys which were
taken to 99.1 WPLR in Dec. for their
BIG TOY DRIVE at Sports Haven
where they raised over $80000.00
worth of toys to give to the area
agencies to help the less fortunate
during the Christmas Holiday. The
scouts that helped to bring the toys to
Sports Haven had the opportunity to
meet Doug Grey from the Marshall
Tucker Band. At the train show about
25 boys earned the Railroading Merit
Badge. The scouts will have this toy
drive and train show on Nov. 24, 2007
so please come by and help us.

Ct. held a toy drive and train show.
The toy drive was a great success in
collecting over $2500.00 worth of toys
which were taken to 99.1 WPLR in
Dec. for their BIG TOY DRIVE at
Sports Haven where they raised over
$75000.00 worth of toys to give to the
area agencies to help the less
fortunate during the Christmas Holiday.
The scouts helped to bring the toys to
Sports Haven had the opportunity to
see some special entertainment and
also miss school that day. At the train
show about 10 boys earned the
Railroading Merit Badge. The scouts
will have this toy drive and train show
on Sat. after Thanksgiving, so please
